It was a battle of the ages last night in Airdrie, even if the ages aren't really that far apart.

In a rare inter-locking game between the Junior Ladies Rocky View Silvertips and the Senior Ladies Rocky View Attack, it was the Juniors coming out ahead, as the Silvertips scored an 8 - 2 victory.

It was a fun game for both teams as four current members of the Attack either played for or coached the Silvertips previously.

The Attack has a quick turnaround time from last night's game, going right back at it at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Plainsman Arena in Airdrie in a game against the Red Deer Rage.

Two other games involved local squads last night.  The Airdrie Senior "C" Mohawks remained unbeaten this season, winning for the ninth time with this one being a 15 - 4 victory over the Erratic in Okotoks.

The Tier Two Junior "B" Rocky View Rage came out of Calgary with an 11 - 9 win over the Wranglers. The Rage has a 3-5 record and a firm grip on fourth in the southwest Cindy Garant division. They also have two games in hand against the three teams ahead of them in the standings.
