A smaller but extremely successful Kimmett Cup has raised over $130,000 for charity so far.

Of that, the goal of $100,000 was reached for Make-A-Wish to help make life-changing wishes come true for children with critical illnesses.

In seven years, the Kimmett Cup has raised $1 million for Make-A-Wish to grant the wishes of 100 children.

Other nonprofits and charities benefitting this year are the Children’s Cottage, Cochrane Search & Rescue, Helping Families Handle Cancer, and the Cochrane Lions Club.

There is still the opportunity to support the Children's Cottage by purchasing raffle tickets for a great prize. The winner will receive flights, hotel accommodations, and tickets to any major regular-season sporting event in North America or a music package in New Orleans.

Raffle tickets and contributions to Make-A-Wish will continue to be accepted until Feb. 28. You can find links to both by visiting www.kimmettcup.com.
