A local Cochrane mom is dealing with unbelieavable grief and a huge financial burden after losing her husband and the father of her four children.
Lacey and Lee Fowler went to Mexico last month to celebrate their tenth anniversary.
Lacey's friend Jessical Knisley says everything changed within 24 hours of arriving in Cabo San Lucas when Lee suffered a massive stroke.
Knisley says "ending up in ICU in an induced coma. They got him back here a few weeks later to say goodbye to his family and here we are today. So he's left four kids. Lacey's at home trying to put all the pieces together."
Knisley says Lacey is looking for a job right now to help with the financial burden but it's tricky to find something accommodating for her childcare needs.
