The cooler temperatures in Cochrane have had a positive effect on the ice of the Upper Mitford Pond skating rink.   

"In advance of the Family Day long weekend, our Parks team has been busy preparing the Upper Mitford Pond ice rink. The rink is now open and ready for use!" Details a post on The Town Of Cochrane's Facebook page.

While Mitford has reopened just in time for Family Day, The Tim Bannister Memorial rink and the downtown ice rink will remain closed.
