Cochrane RCMP have cleared the scene following a fatal crash west of town.
It happened on Highway 1A near Branch Road west of Morley on Tuesday evening.
RCMP believe an eastbound motorcycle lost control and collided with a westbound SUV.
The 29-year-old man driving the motorcycle was declared deceased at the scene.
The Calgary man was the sole occupant of the motorcycle.
There were two occupants in the SUV. They were not injured.
RCMP have completed the investigation on scene and traffic has resumed to normal in the area.
Officers will not be sending out any additional updates.
