Do you have a Cochrane youth you would like to recognize?

Leaders of Tomorrow is an annual celebration recognizing outstanding achievements made by young people in Cochrane.

Brenda Dennis, Volunteer Services and Community Programmer, says it is not about one youth out doing another, it is about recognizing all youth that make an outstanding contribution to the community of Cochrane.

"The neat thing about the Leaders of Tomorrow that I love is that a nomination is everybody is a recipient of the award and the recognition. I love that it's just let's celebrate all of the nominations!"

With Cochrane's growing population, Dennis shares they have had to limit the number of nominations so they can still recognize all nominees.

"We put a limit to the schools in choosing two, an organization two, or a person nominating the maximum of two nominations."

Dennis says in years past they have been quite blessed by receiving many high school aged nominations but says she would love to see more elementary or middle school youth being recognized too.

Stampeder Rob Cote will be returning to his hometown to present the awards for the Leaders of Tomorrow celebration which will be held on April 27 at the Cochrane RancheHouse.

If you have someone you wish to nominate you can do so here until April 7.
