Cochrane RCMP is asking the public to keep their eyes open for a stolen truck and trailer from the Elbow Valley area.

The call came in at 9:15 am this morning (May 1) to advise the detachment of the theft that occurred in the overnight period.

RCMP say the stolen truck is a 2015 white Ford F150 with AB plate BPR7889 and the trailer is described as a 2009 Haulmark with pictures of hot air balloons on the side bearing an AB license plate of HRBLMGC.

Community members are being reminded to take photos and record serial numbers of personal property in case you fall victim to property theft. RCMP say both pieces can aid them in identifying and returning goods to the rightful owner.
