The UAlberta Pandas are in the hunt to repeat as USports women's curling champions.

Team Gray-Wither, which includes Cochrane curler Zoe Cinnamon, is heading into the semifinals at 6:30 a.m. MST Saturday (Mar. 16) as the top-seeded team, going a perfect 7-0 in robin-robin play.

They face the Dalhousie Tigers, a team they just beat Friday afternoon, 7-6, to wrap up preliminary play.

A three-point end gave the Panda a 3-1 lead in the second. They expanded it to 6-1 by the fifth end and held off a comeback attempt by the Tigers.

Zoe Cinnamon is the lead on the team, skip is Serena Gray-Wither, third is Catherine Clifford, and Brianna Cullen is second.

The Golden Bears men's team also topped their division with a 7-1 record and play Regina in the semifinals.
