Cochrane Minor Ball Association has cancelled all practices and games for Tuesday evening because of the thick smoke.
The air quality index is ranked at 10+, which is considered high risk.
The smoke has moved to our region because of the more than 80 wildfires burning in other parts of Alberta.
In an email sent to Cochrane parents, Michelle O'How, Administration & Operations Coordinator said "If you have questions, please be sure to reach out to your manager or coach."
