Alberta's Wipf Rink came out on top in a draw of undefeated teams in the U21 New Holland Men's National Curling Championship.

The rink that includes Cochrane curlers Ky Macaulay and Max Cinnamon, scored singles in the last two ends to complete a 7-6 comeback against the Deschene Rink from Northern Ontario.

In their lone draw of the day, Team Wipf plays PEI's Team MacFadyen this afternoon. The MacFadyen rink is looking for their first win of the championship.

Two weeks ago, Team Wipf won the Alberta U20 championship to be clinch one of Alberta's two men's berths in the nationals. Macaulay is third and Cinnamon lead for the team that also competes for the UCalgary Dinos.

A total of 32 teams are competing, with 16 in both the men's and women's divisions. Team Timothy Marin is the other Alberta men's team. The Emma DeSchiffart and Claire Booth rinks are representing the province on the women's side.
