The Cochrane Public Library, like the rest of the world, has had to make some adjustments in the past few months due to COVID 19.

They have a wealth of e-resources available to patrons and have been providing free library membership and renewals for free during these stressful times.

With the relaunch plan in place, the library falls under phase two of the plan which doesn’t have a confirmed date, yet. However, that does not mean that you can’t access the library’s materials and programs.

Starting Monday, June 8th, the Cochrane Public Library will be providing curbside pickup of library items that are available on their shelves. Click here to find out how to order items.

Andrea Johnston, Community Outreach and Program Librarian, is pleased to announce the return of the popular kids TD Summer Reading Club which will be available virtually and launch on June 15.  Click here for more information.

In conjunction with the reading program the library will be giving away book grab bags available for curbside pickup. It will be based on ages with one book bag per child. By calling ahead you can request age appropriateness. There will be free book grab bags available for adults too.

So even though COVID 19 has reared its ugly head, it has not shackled the Cochrane Public Library they are still available for patrons, just a little differently.
