Town senior administration has been in meetings most of the day discussing how the added COVID restrictions will impact its operation, residents, and businesses.

Mayor Jeff Genung says there's not a lot to share at this point, but expects more information will be available soon on any changes required.

"There's not a lot to share at this point, other than we're looking at everything. Just like everyone else, I'm disappointed and upset that we're going backward with COVID, but I guess we know what we're in for a little bit because we've been there before and done some of that before. It's just frustrating and hard to take."

The town's emergency management committee created extensive plans and protocols earlier in the pandemic.

"Other than the disappointment and having to go backward, there isn't a whole lot of things we're not used to, so some of the plans that we had in place may need to be re-enacted."
