The Town of Cochrane has lifted its fire ban.
Thanks to all of the snow that fell in town on Sunday the fire hazard has been greatly reduced.
The town is reminding you to stay on top of knowing the fire hazard level in town. If you do plan to have a fire, it is your responsibility to manage the fire and to extinguish the fire properly when you're done with it.
Wood burning fires are only allowed in acceptable fire pits and fireplaces.
Rocky View County has also lifted its fire ban.
