The COVID-19 numbers for Monday, June 7 saw 127 new cases in the past 24 hours with a positivity rate of 3.9 per cent.

Alberta has not seen that low of a new COVID-19 case count since October 7, 2020.

There are 4,707 active cases in the province which is a decrease of 177 cases since Sunday.

Hospitalizations dropped by nine cases for a total of 351 and there are currently 94 patients in ICU.

Two more deaths were reported in Alberta Monday, raising the provincial total to 2,248.

To date, over three million doses of vaccine have now been administered in the province.

That breaks down to 66.7 per cent of the province have now received one dose of the COVID vaccine while 14.3 per cent of Albertans have been fully immunized with two doses.

Rocky View County is reporting 45 active cases while Cochrane is registering 14 active cases.
