A make-a-thon workshop saw families and friends come together at the Cochrane Public Library.

Ten 'Little Free Library' boxes were screwed, hammered, and put together by community members.

It was the first time the library has hosted a building project and Gail Ames, Cochrane Public Library, Public Services Assistant, was pleased.

"It was a wonderful community event we had ten families come out and  build little free libraries, we will now register those and they will be on the website for little free libraries. We hope to have another one in the spring it went so well."

Some of the finished libraries were painted onsite while others chose to take them home and add finishing touches.

Keep your eyes open for the finished products, and don't forget your books.
