Ashley Ghostkeeper, a former Cochrane junior hockey player-turned-country music artist, has had a busy year full of live performances, award nominations and new music. She dropped by 91.5FM CochraneNow to show off her latest tune, "Future Me."

Ghostkeeper says this is the last song off her EP. "I wrote this EP a couple of years ago and this whole theme of this EP was just me becoming a woman and just stepping into who I really am."

"Future Me has been that anthem of just living every day, trying to be a better version for my future self. This song is just very uplifting and  a positive message to remind me and I hope when others hear it, it could remind them as well."

Now rocking a full band behind her, Ghostkeeper has multiple shows planned for the summer. "I actually have a full show coming up at Spanky's Saloon in Calgary, on June 16th. That's a free show and it's a full band. It's going to be lots of high-energy country music and it's going to be a good time."
