There are few moments in life that can compare to driving your very first car to school for the first time. That feeling of freedom to go where ever you want, play your music way too loud, and do laps around Mainstreet way too late.

My first car was a yellow 1980's Datsun B210, and while it wasn’t the fastest or fanciest vehicle, it oozed personality and I loved it. When I got this car (handed down to me from my older brother) it had no radio, no side-view mirrors, and only had a 4-speed manual transmission. We ended up installing mirrors and a sweet radio (one with a cool faceplate) and I was ready to show off my stallion. Sure, it froze up during the winter and had a tough time getting up the 4th Ave hill to Cochrane High, but the gas tank was cheap to fill, and getting to my friends’ houses in Glen Eagles was an easy (but slow) task.

Even though I currently have a newish SUV with all the fancy bells and whistles, If I saw that old Datsun on the buy and sell, it would be very hard to pass it up.
