Both the senior girls and boys volleyball teams of Cochrane High remain undefeated heading into the volleyball semifinals of Rocky View Sports (RVS).

Cochrane High is hosting two semfinal matchups on Nov. 6 that will determine who will advance to the final and both are the likely favoured teams with thier unblemished records. The teams finished on top of the RVS league and earned byes into the semifinals.

The girls have a 7-0 match record going into the playoffs, winning 18 sets and only losing two. They'll be facing the Springbank Phoenix who downed the Bert Church Chargers in quarterfinal play. In the other quarterfinal matchup the George McDougall Mustangs overcame the Bow Valley Bobcats, winning the set three games to one.

The boys lost only one of their 16 sets and also went undefeated in their regular season matches. They're facing the Chargers on Monday night at 7:15 p.m. It's the Mustangs and Phoenix in the other seminfinal matchup.

The girls are up first with their match starting at 6 p.m.

The divisional championship games goes two days later, Nov. 8. The top-seeded team will host, so if the Cobras win they'll have home court advantage.
