Cochrane's Austin Wong and Kyle Gordon and rookie Dylan Holloway, of Bragg Creek, have gone deep into the Alberta Junior Hockey League playoffs with the Okotoks Oilers and the long-anticipated south final series is living up to its hype.

The Pason Centennial Arena is standing room only tonight for game five of a south final series that could well go seven games. The Oilers are determined to unseat the Bandits, who have won back-to-back AJHL championships, and punch their ticket to the AJHL finals.

The series is tied two apiece heading back to Okotoks tonight.

Wong, 17, is playing his last games with the club after committing to play for Harvard Crimson next season. Alternate Captain Gordon, 19, has proven to be a team leader in his second full season with the Oilers.

The series heads back to Brooks for game six Sunday, Apr. 8. If necessary, game seven goes Apr. 10 in Okotoks.

Wong was recently named to the AJHL Viterra All-League team and Holloway to the All-Rookie team.
