Cochrane Now sat down with Cochrane Councillor Mary Lou Eckmeier and Councillor Gaynor Levisky to get their advice and personal thoughts on running and being voted an elected official for Cochrane.

The two councillors opened up about their experiences and what it takes. This past four years was Eckmeier's second term and a first for Levisky.

The first question we asked the Councillors:

  • Why did you decide to run for Council?
