The registration deadline for the Zone 2 pickleball qualifier for 55+ Sports is this Friday.
It's the latest qualifier being hosted in Cochrane for the upcoming 55+ Summer Games in Brooks from Aug. 17 to 20.
The qualifier will be held Apr. 28 and 29 at the SLS Centre. There are five age brackets for 2-person teams (55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+) in men's, women's, and mixed for levels 3.5+ and 4.0+. The draw will be issued on Apr. 24.
The top teams in each age division and each level are eligible to advance to the 2023 Alberta 55 Plus Summer Games in Brooks. Second-place finishers may get a similar opportunity.
