A fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred in August of 2022, has resulted in more charges being laid by Cochrane RCMP.
The accident happened on Highway 1A near Morley Road at around 7:30 p.m. on August 19, 2022, and took the life of 53-year-old Samantha Wylie of Fort Saskatchewan.
Deirdre Snow, age 29, of Stoney Nakoda First Nation has been charged with impaired operation causing death, impaired operation causing bodily harm, impaired operation while over 80 mg% causing death, impaired operation while over 80 mg% causing bodily harm, and public mischief.
Snow was held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing and she was released on conditions for the Alberta Court of Justice in Cochrane on May 2, 2023.
