Cochrane RCMP have reached out to the public in hopes of identifying a car theft suspect.

On May 4, RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious person. The investigation determined a male parked a vehicle at a service station. He entered the service station, spoke with an employee and left, abandoning the vehicle.

Police determined the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Calgary.

The male suspect is described as:

  • Approximately 30 years old;
  • Slim build; and
  • Wearing a black baseball cap, black hoody, and blue jeans.
