Two powerplay goals in the first period gave the Lethbridge Eagles a 2-1 edge over the Cochrane Chaos on Dec. 2.

The next day, the Chaos bounced back with a 3-1 road win over the Calgary Titans.

Head coach Derek Loomer says the team played well in their game against the Eagles but ran into the hot goaltending of Carolyn Demchuk, who faced 49 shots.

Quinlan Laverdiere scored the lone goal for the Chaos from Zoe Walker and Jordan Holt.

chaos 2Eva DeBaie and Luca Canderan scored powerplay goals in the first period for the Eagles, enough to win the game.

Just one game on the AJFHL schedule for the Cochrane Chaos this weekend on the road against the Foothills Storm, who beat the Chaos in overtime early in the season.

The Chaos remain on top of the south division standings with a 10-3 record.

Their other two remaining games in December are also on the road, and we won't see them at Totem One until Jan. 13, when they take on the top team in the north, the Edmonton Wolves.
