Everything is ready to go for Canada's 152nd birthday celebration beginning at 9 in the morning tomorrow (July 1).

With so much going on, we want to give you a rundown of times, locations and must know details.

With a warm high of 22C being anticipated, Cochrane will be the place to be this holiday Monday.

A flurry of activities will be held between Cochrane's Historic Downtown and Mitford Park, and it all starts with pancakes downtown and ends with a brilliant fireworks display over the sky of Mitford Park.

In a nutshell, here's what Cochrane has in store:

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN

Canada Day Pancake Breakfast, Royal Canadian Legion, 114 5th Avenue West, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Features performances by the Mini Thni Singers and Dancers, Pat O' Hare Entertainment, Melaine Baux Vocal Studio, as well as a community drumming circle. $3 for Adults. $2 for Children 6-12. Free for Kids 5 and under.

Canada Day Flag Raising Ceremony, Royal Canadian Legion 11:00 a.m

The Royal Canadian Legion will lead the flag raising ceremony. Melanie Baux Vocal Studio will sing O' Canada, Canada birthday cake/cupcakes will be served by Mayor and Council, and Iryna Kalinovich will be singing and playing Bandura.

Empty Bowls Fundraiser

The fundraiser will be held outside of Royal Lepage Allstars (504 1st W) running from 9 a.m. to the 3 p.m.

For $20 you get a one of a kind bowl or mug and a meal/drink voucher from one of the participating locations. Plus, you'll be supporting our local food bank.

MITFORD PARK

Cochrane Area Events Society is the host of CANADA DAY CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS from noon until 11:30 p.m.

The all-day FREE event features a ton of activities for all ages, and Event Organizer, Kailey Leonzio, is anticipating a great day. "The weather is shaping up to be good. Come down for the whole day if you can, enjoy the kids' stuff going on, the showcase of the clubs, the rugby game going on, and then we have entertainment all day. We have so many things going on, you are not going to be bored, and there is something for all ages."

Some of the children's activities will end at four while other activities will wind up by seven, but of course, there is a full line up of musical entrainment on the main stage running all the way through.

A dunk tank sponsored by Urban Casual will also be running from noon until seven. For $2/throw (proceeds to Girl Guides Camp), community members can dunk some 'Cochrane Celebs', says Leonzio. "Sam who runs Urban Casual had the idea to go on Cochrane Rants and Raves and see if some of the famous ranters in Cochrane would be interested in sitting up there, and that is how we filled our dunk tank of people. There will be people up there that maybe you don't know their faces but have seen their posts on social media."
