Cochranites can enjoy the CP Holiday train on Saturday from the warmth and comfort of their homes.

The CP Holiday Train is holding its annual holiday concert tomorrow. and for the second year, the event will be virtual due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The holiday staple has been rolling through communities since 1999 showcasing musical performances on board all while supporting food banks across the country.

The last time the brightly coloured holiday train came through Cochrane's Historic Downtown was back in 2018 when Cochranites had the chance to catch The Sam Roberts Band, Kelly Preston, and Tracey Brown perform live.

The 23rd annual CP Holiday Train event kicks off virtually on Saturday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. and you can tune in here.

Holiday at Home will see performances by Steven Page, The Strumbellas, The Trews, Sierra Noble and the Odds;  to name a few.

Families can still donate through the event website.
