The first annual CochraneNow Stampede Pancake Breakfast was a smashing success.

Thousands of Cochanites came out to enjoy delicious flap jacks served up by members of the Cochrane Lions Club.

Donations to the Helping Hands Society of Cochrane's Free Food shed were being accepted and volunteers were there to lend a hand.

Event goers were treated to great live music from local country musician Jeremy Dallas.

Dallas was able to rock out to a massive crowd on an incredible stage provided by Dave Moore Transport and Recovery.

Cochrane Lions Rodeo Queen Kyla Lightfoot was on hand to flip flapjacks, as was Mayor Jeff Genung and Banff-Airdrie MP Blake Richards.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the event, and a HUGE thanks to the Cochrane Lions Club, Northstar Ford, Guy's Cafe & Bakery, Cochrane McDonald's and Mark's NOFRILLS Cochrane.
