Cochrane RCMP is seeking public assistance in determining the whereabouts of a 26-year-old Morley woman.

Cornelia Goodstoney was reported missing by her family on Tuesday (September 25) evening around 6 pm after her family told RCMP she walked away from her home on the Stoney Nation.

Last seen on foot headed eastbound on Highway 1A, Cochrane RCMP says her family believes Cornelia was headed to an unknown location in Calgary.

The 26-year-old Indigenous woman is described as 5'1 weighing 119lbs with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown coat with white spots, black pants,  brown shoes and seen carrying two backpacks.

RCMP would like to speak with Cornelia Goodstoney to make sure she is safe. If you have information regarding the Morley woman's whereabouts, you are asked to call the Cochrane detachment at 403-851-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
