Bragg Creek's Dylan Holloway wasted in no time in making a mark in his return to the Edmonton Oilers roster.

Saturday night, the 22-year-old forward assisted on the winning goal in the Oilers 3-1 win over the Flames that paved the way to the longest winning streak ever by a Canadian NHL team.

Sam Gagner notched the winner on a lucky bounce when he was throwing the puck in front of the Flames net. It ricocheted off Flames defender Rasmus Andersson and past the glove of goalie Dan Vladar.

Holloway returned after working his way back from a knee injury sustained in mid-November against the Islanders. Prior to his return, he spent four games with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, where he scored two goals and collected four points.

It was Holloway's first assist of the season and only his second point of his sophomore season. Holloway was a +1 on the night.
