Cochrane's Tanner Milan has one more crack at advancing to the finals in the last day of the B Pool steer wrestling competition of the Calgary Stampede.

Milan had a time of 4.8 seconds yesterday, good enough for fourth on the day. He's fourth overall in the B Pool coming into today's competition. He'll be last up in today's event.

It's Kyle Irwin, of Robertsdale, AL who continues to have the Midas touch in the B Pool with $15,500 in earnings so far. He solidified his top spot position with a time of 3.6 seconds yesterday, just a hair behind his best time of 3.5 seconds.

Milan is the top Canadian in the pool. with earnings of $7,000 so far. Consort's Scott Guenthner is sixth and Donalda's Curtis Cassidy is 10th.
