The Rocky View Rage have wrapped up their regular season two weeks sooner than the rest of the league.

They're left on the sideline, waiting to see how the rest of the  RMLL Jr. B Tier 2 lacrosse league clubs do in their final games.

The Rage split their final weekend of regular season play, losing to the Calgary Wranglers at home, 13-7, then holding on to beat the Southern Alberta Chaos, 12-11, in Taber.

The Rage have finished the regular season with a 10-6 record, good enough to place them near the top of the south division standings. Whether they'll get a bye from the first round of playoffs is currently dangling in the wind.

The Calgary Wranglers have all but wrapped up first place with an impressive 10-2 record with four games remaining.

The Chaos is the only team with a good shot to contest the Rage for second in the division, although the Bandits have an outside chance. The Chaos have four games remaining and must go undefeated to surpass the Rage.

The Rage beat the Chaos in both meetings this season and would finish second should the two tie.

In the meantime, Rage head coach Reese Sellwood says they will continue to prepare for when playoffs roll around in mid-July.
