It's a busy weekend on the Canadian Country Showcase as we bring you 3 new songs on the show. We'll catch up with Ray Mussell and Aaron Pritchett about a song they have done together called "Still You Breathe". The song was written in recognition of the great work Morris Irvine, (double-lung transplant recipient) has done with the 2nd Chance Trail Ride Society as they assist transplant recipients to recover by providing temporary housing, mentorship, and financial support. The song is also a  “THANK YOU” to donors in all situations, (living and those who have passed on), as the compassion shown by these heroes and their families is immense. "Still You Breathe" is Ray and Aaron's way of raising awareness for the very worthy cause of organ and tissue donation.

We'll also have Annika join us on the show to debut her solo music project. You may recognize her from CCMA-nominated duo Leaving Thomas. Annika has just released her first single as a solo artist called "I Really Don't Want To" and is preparing to release her debut album as a solo artist. Along with new music, we'll talk about how it's been an exciting time for Annika as she and her husband are preparing to welcome their first child together in July.

And lastly, Ben Hudson will join us on the show to debut his 3rd single out to radio called "Call Me Karma". We'll get to hear the story behind the song on the show this weekend.

Catch the Canadian Country Showcase Saturday at 12 p.m and Sunday at 4 p.m.
