It seems that there has been a rash of break-ins at local businesses over the last little while.

The Sunset Bakery, Guy’s Bakery, and Rebel Comics all fell victim to burglaries.

Corp Troy Savinkoff says, "There are investigators assigned to the files themselves and we have our Crime Reduction unit that is following up. We do believe that not all of the crimes are related to one another."

Savinkoff says officers continue to investigate and that no arrests have been made yet.

He also reminds citizens that CrimeStoppers is a great resource in which people can give their thoughts in an anonymous way and the tips really do help out the investigation. He says, "If you do have suspicions on who you think might be committing some offenses or any information that might help us please, feel free to use CrimeStoppers. It is anonymous and it is extremely helpful to us when we conduct our investigations."

If you have any information on any of the break-ins or other suspicious activity you are encouraged to call the local RCMP at 403-851-8000  or CrimeStoppers at 1 800 222 TIPS (8477) online at www.P3Tips.com, or by using the "P3 Tips" app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
