A man previously charged in the investigation of 2016 homicide now faces a count of second-degree murder.

Jeremy Boisseau was murdered in late 2016.
A resident of Nova Scotia, Roach was previously charged with indignity to a body on June 19. He was arrested on Canada-wide warrants at his home in Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia with the assistance of the Halifax Regional Police and both Alberta and Nova Scotia RCMP.

Investigators believe the homicide occurred between the late hours of Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 and early morning Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, in an apartment in the 600 block of 1 Ave N.E. in the Bridgeland area. Boisseau's body was then transported to the Waiparous area.

In May, police said they discovered new evidence in a renewed search of the area where Boisseau's remains were found.
