Emergency Services were all on the scene of an incident that occurred just before four this afternoon (September 13).

Chris Baker, the Duty Supervisor this evening for EMS, says the call involving a motorcyclist came in around 3:55 this afternoon. "We have a male in his late teens that was involved in a single motorbike collision in the area of Horse Creek Road and 13 kilometres north on Grandvalley Road. It looks like the patient was transported in serious but non-life threatening condition by STARS Air Ambulance to the Foothills Hospital."

Baker, could not confirm whether another vehicle was involved in the collision or not, stating notes only reported it as a single motorbike.

If any more information is provided, we will update the story.

This collision marks roughly the sixth incident we have reported on this summer involving a motorcyclist.
