Camping season has come to a close for another year and with that, it's hibernation season for our summer toys.

With winter right around the corner, the Town of Cochrane is reminding residents that it's time to move your home on wheels into storage.

According to Town officials, all recreational vehicles (RVs) such as motorhomes, trailers and boats now need to be moved off driveways and parked in a designated winter spot.

Once the spring arrives, Cochranites can once again retrieve their trailers and RVs from storage and can park them on their driveways throughout the peak of camping season.

The Town is reminding residents to be courteous to their neighbours and according to Municipal enforcement, residents not complying with parking bylaws could face hefty fines.
