The Town of Cochrane will replace four pedestrian bridges and lay down almost four kms of asphalt in an effort to improve connectivity between the Historic Ranche and Glenbow Park.

Last year, town council approved the construction of 3.65 kms of paved pathways, including 2.1 kms in Glenbow, 1.5 kms in the Cochrane Ranche, and tri-school connectors.

Additionally, the project entails replacing four pedestrian bridges in Glenbow Park, installing wayfinding signage, maps, and multimodal markers to facilitate easy navigation and exploration for both residents and visitors in our community.

The project is set to begin this year.

The town will host two open houses for residents to learn more and ask questions.
