The day Cochrane's Tristan Walker has been preparing for the last four years happens tomorrow.

Walker and his doubles partner Justin Snith will be hitting the luge track at the Beijing Olympics tomorrow morning at 5:10 MST.

Four years ago, the pair barely missed the doubles podium in a sport where milliseconds determine the medalists.

But the pair didn't leave empty-handed.

They were part of the silver medal performance by Canada's relay team.

Walker and Snith are now the veterans of Canada's Luge team and will also be competing in the relay event on Thursday.

The races are being broadcasted on CBC.
