Rocky View County Council will have a much different look to it for the next four years.

Only one of the four incumbents who were running for re-election managed to hold onto his seat and eight new councillors will take a seat at the RVC table.

Bruce Kendall is one of those incumbents who no longer has a seat after finishing third in Division Nine to newcomer Crystal Kissel who won the Division with 578 votes.  Former Rocky View School Board Chair Colleen Munro finished a distant second to Kissel with 329 votes while Kendall garnered just 258.

In Division Eight representing Bearspaw incumbent Eric Lowther is also on the outside looking in after being defeated by Samanntha Wright who picked up 877 votes compared to 803 for Lowther.

The final incumbent to lose their seat was Jerry Arshinoff.  In one of the most tightly contested races of the night Kim McKylor beat Arshinoff by just 23 votes, 518 to 495.

Bragg Creek business owner Mark Kamachi was a runaway winner over Enrique Massot in Division One representing Southwest Rocky View County, Bragg Creek and Jumping Pound.

Kamachi finished with 617 votes compared to Massot's 250.
