Banded Peak School was abuzz with creativity during Art Rebel.

The schools 6th Annual Fine Arts show was a smashing success on January 19. Over 35 local artisans came to the school for the day, giving students a unique opportunity to try out various mediums of art. The students were immersed in a different session every hour and everything from hip-hop dance, metal work, opera singing could be found at the school that day.

Kelsey Wicktor Neumeister, Banded Peak, teacher says it is an incredible day for everyone involved.

"It provides kids an opportunity to try some art forms  they may not have had a chance to before. The best thing about it is that it gets kids to take a risk in a safe place, in a safe way. Hopefully taking risks will spread into school and their lives."

Baruch Laskin, Performer, was a driving force behind the creation of this annual event; he says days like this can make students realize their full potential.

"For the kids, it is a day to look forward to. They realize anyone can do anything, and the arts are alive in all of us."
