A heads up for drivers!
A portion of Hwy. 1A will be closed starting tomorrow night.
This is for construction crews to complete shallow utility work required to improve Hwy. 1A.
This will be between Centre Ave to 4th Ave.
The closure will begin Friday, Aug. 27 at 9 p.m. and will end Saturday, Aug. 28 at 7 a.m.
Traffic will be detoured through Cochrane's downtown during this time.
Drivers are being asked to slow down, watch for construction workers and follow all signage in the area.
Highway transport trucks are being asked to use an alternate detour. That route can be found on Cochrane.ca/Highway1A and Cochrane.ca/construction.
