The Town of Cochrane has released a timeline for more construction work along Centre Ave.

"We want to keep you informed about the ongoing progress on Centre Ave as we work on installing duct banks for underground electrical utilities. Some locations necessitate lane closures and may cause temporary access delays."

Paving is expected to take place over the next 24 hours for both pedestrian paths and the main roadway.

"We have prioritized paving on the First Street East walkway, and it is scheduled for today."

"To minimize disruption, overnight work may be conducted tonight. This may result in some overnight traffic adjustments."

Thursday will see the paving of patches along the avenue.

Until work in the area is complete, traffic is asked to find an alternative route when possible
