Cochranites looking to retire won't have to go far to enjoy the best of after-work life.

Cochrane was included in the list of the ten least expensive locations to retire in Canada, just published by Travel + Leisure magazine.

Coming in 10th place, Cochrane snagged a spot due to the cost of housing, healthcare, activities, weather, way of life, and culture.

"Data indicates excellent health care facilities and consumer prices," reads the magazine. "Including rent, to be 47 percent lower than New York City."
