Another popular Cochrane event is taking the year off. The Cochrane Pumpkin Lantern Festival has announced it will not happen this year on social media.

"With a heavy pumpkin heart, this is to let you know that the Cochrane Pumpkin Lantern festival will remain on hiatus this year.

The Cochrane Pumpkin Lantern Festival is a Halloween event held in Cochrane Ranche where the pathways are lined with hundreds of carved jack-o-lanterns submitted by community members.
