Cochrane finished the second week of March with a reported 43 active cases of COVID-19. To date, Cochrane has had a total of 372 cases with 327 recoveries.
The province also confirmed on Sunday, the first reports of the P.1 variant on COVID-19. The first cases originate from Brazil. Two cases have been discovered in Alberta, both in the Calgary zone.
As of Sunday afternoon, Alberta has identified 388 new cases of COVID-19 with a testing positivity rate that currently sits at 4.6 percent.
There are 248 COVID-related hospitalizations in the province with 38 cases in intensive care.
There are 4,697 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
