You may have seen his name in print before as 17-year-old Xavier Vaillancourt has been in the news a great deal with all his sporting achievements. 

Xavier just finished his senior year as quarterback for the Cochrane High Cobras and has 3 provincial championships under his belt. December 15, 2019 he was named MVP of the Rocky View Division Football League. 

Xavier is also a talented baseball player, and he was part of a Cochrane squad that won multiple championships in the Calgary league over the years. He also plays hockey but, opted out of pursuing the triple AAA program to focus on football. 

Vaillancourt was heavily pursued by both Canadian and US universities. He was the first player signed by the Calgary Dinos for the 2020 season, on the first day of eligibility. He chose the Calgary Dinos program as it is one of the best in Canada plus, he gets to stay close to home.
