The return to classes at the Mini Thni Community School has been delayed after a vehicle drove through the doors.

Stoney Education Authority officials are expected to provide parents and students with an update later today (Apr. 17). They initially indicated the school will be closed today and tomorrow.

"The building is currently being assessed, and a plan is in motion to make repairs so that students can safely return to school," officials advised on Mar. 14.

On Apr. 12, a vehicle crashed through the school doors, causing significant damage.

RCMP continue their investigation into the incident.
