Curious to learn more about films streaming on Netflix that were shot in Canada?
Since 2021, Netflix has offered users a way to discover film locations shot in their area or elsewhere in our nation.
The regularly updated website is called Netflix in Your Neighbourhood and provides a few details on where the films were shot.
Recently, My Life with the Walter Boys was added to the list. Cochranites will quickly spot the scenes shot here in the Historic Downtown, Cochrane RancheHouse, and Glenbow neighbourhood. You may even recognize some of the locations used in Calgary, Crossfield, and Kananaskis Country.
The website now boasts a collection of 40-plus films and series shot in Canada. Netflix filming productions stretch from Sooke, British Columbia to St. John’s, Newfoundland.
The site is designed to give fans both local and from around the world the opportunity to find and explore some of the Canadian filming locations for Netflix’s most popular films and series.
