Some good news on this soggy Tuesday morning.
The wildfire that's been burning since Friday, west of Cochrane near Dead Man's Flats is now listed as Under Control.
Members from the Canmore Fire Fighters Association shared the news this morning saying "Few words are sweeter in the Fire Industry"
Crews have been battling the blaze since Friday, which forced a portion of Hwy. 1 to close.
Dozens of wildland firefighters were called in to help with the fire along with help from helicopters, airtankers and local fire departments.
Initially it was reported to be approximately 10 hectares in size, but it’s size was revised to six hectares.
