Two fire stations from Rocky View County were called in to help extinguish the fire while temperatures hovered around -30.

Fire crews were able to fully contain and extinguish the blaze at around 5:30 a.m.

No one was injured.

Because of the cold weather and absence of wind, residual steam and a faint smell of smoke may persist this morning. This occurrence is typical considering the circumstances of the fire. Given the property's proximity to Highway 22, drivers passing by might notice the steam and detect the scent of smoke.

Residents are being assured that there is no immediate danger, but if any smoke or fire is observed, they are asked to call 911.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
